What we keep

Your account email, the goal and body details you enter (age, sex, height, weight), your meal plan, what you mark as eaten, your pantry, shopping carts and settings. If you send feedback, we keep what you wrote with your email so we can read it and reply. Weight and food logs are health data under the GDPR, so we only process them with your explicit consent, given with a separate checkbox when you create your plan. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account in You › Privacy.

Where it lives

In a database in the European Union. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card. Plate photos are sent to our AI provider to estimate the food and are not stored by Fuelamo.

Who processes your data for us

We use these service providers. Each one only gets what it needs for its job.

• Vercel (hosting): runs the website and app. Our server code runs in Frankfurt, Germany.
• Supabase (database and sign-in): stores your account and plan in the European Union.
• Anthropic (AI, United States): reads the commands you type and the plate photos you send, to answer them. Photos are not stored by Fuelamo.
• Stripe (payments): handles subscriptions and your card. We never see your card number.
• Resend (email, United States): sends sign-in links, the welcome email and, only if you ask for it, the weekly summary.
• Zoho Mail (our email inbox, stored in the European Union): receives the emails you send us and tester feedback.
• Sentry (error reports, stored in the European Union): when the app hits an error, it receives a technical report with your IP address, browser and the page you were on. It does not receive your plan, weight or food logs.
• Open Food Facts: when you scan a barcode, only the barcode number is sent, to look up the product.

Where a provider is outside the European Union, the transfer is covered by its data processing agreement.

Ads

Sponsored items are chosen from the foods on your plate on your device. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, and we only count views and taps per sponsor, not per person.

Your rights

Export everything or delete your account at any time in You › Privacy. Deleting removes your data and cancels any subscription. Questions: support@fuelamo.com.
